import project from github into android studio says it's not gradle based project -

as title says, i've imported project i've been working on github android studio. has build.gradle files, , settings.gradle. why it's not gradle based file?

am missing needed when pulled github? followed android studio import github option. else have do...?

when try gradle sync, tells me project isn't gradle based.
