vlc - OS command stop at regular interval with python -

i wanted stop , restart function in python @ regular interval[let's 1 hour], function contains os.system();#needed command

inside os.system, cvlc program trying capture stream , saving in local disk. need stop @ each 1 hour , , providing new file name next start.

sample code appreciated...!
